Allergy Testing & Treatment

 

Our office has integrated the up-to-date testing methods adopted by the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Allergy. It has shown to increase sensitivity and lessens patient’s discomfort and testing time. Testing will include most common inhaled allergens specific to our area in addition to food allergy testing.

Our patients are very satisfied that they are able to take Allergy Shots are given 7 days a week with late and early hours . This makes it a lot easier to take the treatment more consistently. 

 

 

 

 

Sublingual immunotherapy

 

Sublingual immunotherapy ( Allergy Drops), unlike allergy shots, it is given orally at home  with no need for frequent office visits or injections.

 

Xolair Injection

 

This used for severe asthmatic patients . XOLAIR® (omalizumab) for subcutaneous use is an injectable, prescription medicine for patients 12 years of age and older. It is for patients with moderate to severe persistent allergic asthma caused by year-round allergens in the air. A skin or blood test is done to see if you have allergic asthma. XOLAIR is for patients who are not controlled by asthma medicines called inhaled steroids. 

XOLAIR helps reduce the number of asthma attacks in people with allergic asthma who still have asthma symptoms even though they are taking inhaled steroids.

XOLAIR is also approved for chronic Urticaria ( hives )
